The Francis Family

Ben Francis is the Founder and CEO of leading sports apparel brand Gymshark and the first-ever Patron of Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital Charity. Ben founded Gymshark when he was 19, while still a student at Aston University. The business has grown from an operation in Ben’s garage to one of the most recognised fitness brands in the world, gaining ‘Unicorn’ (£1bn+ value) status in August 2020. In January 2023 Ben was awarded an MBE for his services to commerce and the economy.
